Here’s a new hobby of mine:

Reverse-engineering the astrological placements and aspects on the app The Pattern.

For those who don’t know, this is an astrology app with none of the astrological jargon. It’s well-written, and yes, it is accurate, though I have to say that unlike other astrology apps, the reading actually focuses on the most powerful placements and aspects as opposed to going down the list from luminaries to planets to angles.

It may be the closest thing you’ll get to a free app mimicking an astrology reading from an actual astrologer.

And I don’t say this lightly, but I also don’t think it replaces an astrological reading.

You can now run bonds with people so now I’m spending time trying to figure out which aspects, house overlays, and such they’re using to determine the bonds.
