Why Fugitive Umbrellas?
Around 9/11 and shortly before I began studying astrology, I lived in Jersey City and worked in Manhattan. My home and my office were both close to the Hudson River. On rainy days, the wind would churn the river and swirl madly with mischief. It played devilish games. It would sneak up on an unsuspecting commuter and suddenly yank his or her umbrella up in the air. It looked as if the umbrella was making a sudden break for it, and I wondered if any of them ever escaped in tact, took the wind, and floated away on an adventure of a lifetime.
As to how this relates to astrology, I think we all deserve a time to break free and float away, to see places unseen and have the bird‘s eye view.
